just got this message from another ebay member , not bidding on any items and cant reply to the message , looked on the commnity effort and his / her names not on there , very odd. lol message amused me as the arseholes location is united states

I won a record on ebay recently and straight away I got a message from a chap in Finland asking me to do mp3's of it for them. A tad cheeky I thought

im well peed off at the moment after buying sommat on ebay.

went to send the seller an email tonight as ive had no contact to tell me the item i have bought has been posted, and noticed in my ebay it says they are no longer a registered user!!

i sent the money via paypal and i have emailed the seller to say they have until tomorrow to contact me or else im contacting paypal and ebay to get my money back (about £20) for the CSI New York dvd box set i won.

i recieved your e mail i understand your concern but your dvds were posted out to you yesterday so you should recieve them by tomorrow

well ill be ready to mug the postman in the morning for them so they had better arrive or else im gonna go mad.

no that was the 1st thing i checked , no messages from ebay either saying ive been reported , so not to worried about it , find it quite amusing , nowt like bieng called thief and scum to cheer you up

just be careful if they post a link in the email - could end up downloading a keylogger prog or fall victim to a 'phishing' scam (it happens!)

I would ignore it but if it gets out of hand and tbh id not even dignify any of their emails with a reply, then send them on to ebay and let them deal with it.
