I was lucky enough to get a nhs dentist this month and had my first appointent last week to find that i only need one filling. Was pretty chuffed with that as i was expecting more and to be waiting for years.

I not long lived in this area and cant find a NHS dentist anywhere so ive had to go private and its way toooo much money, the guy i see charges £45 just for you to sit in the chair and thats BEFORE he has to do any work.

we dont have any NHS dentists round ere the nearest 1 is in Bedfont and I cant be arsed to go over there plus its well dodgy


i have mine done at the dentist at work, its not that cheap but she does do deals if u need multiple fillings plus shes quite fit en all

I was a bit dubious about finding a new one when i moved to a different bit of the country, but fortunately they let me stay-on. Just means a minor inconvenience of having to go all the way back to Leicester for an appointment but its ok, perfect excuse for a long weekend back home if i book it for a Friday or Monday

Think they're much stricter now due to demand I guess, miss one and youre struck off, or whatever
