Amymars had a thread bout 1 week ago bout her old car going to the scrapyard in the sky, Got me thinking about my driving days, Didnt want to bring back all those memorys to you Amy so i waited to let the dust settle on your old banger, Ave had a few old bangers myself, First car i had was a Mk 1 Escort, Hand painted that monster, Bottle Green, It had more paint runs than the river amond, Then i got 2 Mk 2 Escorts, Both bangers, Then a Vauxhall Viva, A complete shed, Then i got my pride and joy, A really clean Mk2 Escort, I dont know much about cars but i got loads of stuff for it, RS Mexico engine, Quickshift, 4 branch manifold, RS xhaust, Mexico Bucketseats, Rollcage, RS 2000 suspension, Alloys, Low profile tyres, RS interior, Got it resprayed Mexico red, Got a RS nosecone with the twin headlights, The full works, Then i got banned!!!!! No complaints, I was a tosser and deserved it, To young and stupid, Sold it to my brother who is a complete car nut, So it went to a good home, Ave never driven for over 10 years and with my eye sight i dont want to drive ever, Still i do hold the record for being banned from Amateur football in Scotland, 29 Years, And i dont even play football!!!!

My first car was a A reg Mk2 Ford Fiesta 957cc (ooo the power ) in biege (lovely colour)

That ended up being towed away with the big end gone after only about 9 months.

Then I got a Black Mk2 Astra GTE (great car really quick at the time) but it was fooked and the head was leaking so i sold that.

then i was at uni for three years so i didnt have a car,

Then i went sensible had two toyota Corollas Boring as fuck but ive never owned two more reliable cars ( you can treat like shit and they always start in the morning )

Then i got my Ibiza Cupra (Lightening quick but went rong SO MANY times)


Ive now gone full circle and have Fiesta ST (best car ive owned) handling is a dream and although its not quite as quick as the cupra in a straightline, it goes round corners like shit to a blanket, love leaving the Business reps in their big vectras or mondeos behind as i go hell for leather round roundabouts....byeeee

my 1st car was a mk1 fiesta which when i got it it was blue/silver, decided that i didnt like the colour so i hand painted it purple and renamed it............"the purple helmet"

I'm old car mad me. Always got one in bits in me garage... Me previous is highly embarrassing and is mostly a list of the complete shite which our fine nation turned out in the 70's... I'm a sucker for vauxhalls... had a couple of vivas (one of my fave ever cars) chevette & Mk1 Astra GTE. Highlight (or low point depending on yer view) though I think has to be the 1976 Marina... oh yes... proper tackle it was... dogshit brown, black vinyl roof (with cool as fook slidey webasto) gold coachstripes... poorly-dog shit beige interior... man I fucking loved that car. Went like a bastard too 1800cc & twin SU's... many's the chavved-up XR3i I'd obliterate from the lights... nee bother...

Incidentally, "in bits in me garage" at the minute are a Sunbeam Rapier & an Imp...

i passed me test and was over the moon when my uncle came up with a lovely shiny red nova..............yes before ya say it, chavs car deffo!!!!!

it moved like shit off a shovle for a little 1ltr car, the sound system was a piss poor bog standard stereo so i soon changed that to an alpine pullout.........thats when pullouts were all the rage soon changed that to a kenwoon faceoff with.....wait for it......5 house speakers in the boot!!!!! loud as feck i tell thee!!!

by this time the car had had a serious battering, somebody ran into the back of me and smashed it all in, so to save claiming on the insurance which was at that time well over a grand i just tied the boot lid down with the rope from a JD sports bag

the seats were held up by bricks coz the bolts had sheared off completely with peeps getting in and out of the back seats all the time............they just wanted to be in my top car

you didnt need a key to get into it coz the door barrel was knackered,

its spent its last day parked on the carpark of a cinema in salford quays and then was found the next day behind a church in salford burnt out!!! i was devestated when it went to the big scrapyard in the sky

the best thing about it was the reg plate..........B514 OLX - bollox

but mine was a chav car before chavs where invented boy racers had em

my car was shit hot............but looked crap lined up in bowlers carpark next to all the soooped up nova's

lol i had go faster stripes and a huge sound system in my first fiesta. Lol the speakers actually made the door interior move in and out totally chav but at the time i fort i was cool....i was 17 so
