i was in wales on monday and it was a well nice day, went to conwy llandudno and the tacky as feck rhyl!!

we went up the great orm and it was well windy but ded ded sunny, realy refreshing

It was a cracking day out actually, sunny at the base and blowing a gale at the top as per usual.

We raced the train down from about 2/3 of the way up once it was level with us and we beat it

We finished up driving over to Betws-Y-Coed for a cracking meal at The Stables Lodge too, so all in all a good day

sounds a good en not been to Betws-Y-Coed for a long time > used to go to see swallow falls < a place which is really lovely. Might have to go for a drive out in the next couple of weeks and pay the old place a visit (used to go all over wales in the summer) - might even try out the Stables Lodge too ta hun

Never been to Swallow Falls, but my dad used to take us as kids to some other waterfall in Wales somewhere when we were in the area. Had some great hols in Wales myself when I was a kid

It might take you about 10 minutes to give your order at Stables Lodge but don't be put off. The place is mad busy but you get your food quickly and can sit inside or outside in the heated patio area with about a 100 other outdoors lovers taking in the scenery and sunshine and don't need to be worried about dressing up. The food is really good too
