I had a 8 year difference, me being the older party and that didn't seem freakish.

I just cant imagine me being able to properly relate to someone loads loads loads older , or loads loads younger.
yea i totally agree with u there, think it just depends on the situation really dont it. althou like sum av said, i wouldnt go for the over 10 yr mark or nowt, that just doesnt appeal to me

Sirius.
Don't apologise dude, you are intitled to your views as much as the next man. Perhaps you could tell me why you find it disgusting though. My comments to Martin were posted in a very 'ad hoc' manner, i have done no research on this and i would be curious to know your views.

hmmmmmmmmmm

As ive only ever had 2 boyfriends, both a couple of years older.........i dont know about this one. I dont think id wana date anyone younger than me, just seems wrong. Now, as men are generally more immature with their life goals when they are young, the oldest age i would go up to is 30. Now, you might think that is sick, but, 10 years older than me is probably more what Id be after. They probably be into buying a house and babies and shit, and staying in sometimes, which is cool.

About women having babies past the age of 40........dont agree with it. Its bad. Everyone I know who has got older parents doesnt like it, they say they missed out a bit, and their parents have been a lot stricter with them. I think complications arise with older women having children, and it isnt natural. I dont agree with IVF. If you think about it, nature intends one sperm to fertalise an egg, the strongest fastest one which gets there first. Some lab guy is picking the sperm for IVF, its not gonna be the best one which nature intended, plus the sperms are chemically washed. This is why we have kids with weird diseases families didnt even know they had like Cystic Fibrosis. Somebody close to me was an IVF child, and has this, - there was no history of it in the family. Makes you wonder............

As for girls being able to get pregnant as early as 10/11/12, they are not mentally ready, but they are physically able as nature intended. Way back when people only lived to about the age of 30/40, so it was acceptable then, at 10 a quater of your life or more had gone. Evolution is a long process I guess, we now live to 80/90.....so 20's and 30's is more acceptable and wise. After that however, I feel that it is wrong.............

Firsty, there is a nine year age gap between me and the B-man, him bein the ol' dood! (hehe)

And age gap is only a problem if you make it one. If a couple get on and their heads connect then what is the problem? As long as you can grow old (and older lol) together and still connect then I think it's fine.

Me and Butty get on like a house on fire, if we didn't then we wouldn't be together. Simple as.

I like the fact that he's older coz I can take the piss out of him when he hits the big 3-0 and I'll onlt b 21.... our birthdays are only 6 days apart!!! (he's gettin a cake that says "ur waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay old!" lol j/k)

And I think he likes it so he can brag to all his mates that he's bagged a young bird!

Any hoo, no probs with an age gap, providin they're not old enough to be parents etc!! lol

As for IVF, not everyone has it because they're too old to conceive.... some people have it when they're young and tryin to start a family and are havin trouble. I think anyone who wants to bring a child into the world and who can love it and stuff should have the right!!

xx

Biggest age difference I was involved in...6 years (dont do this according to chinese astology it's ver veryy badd. My mum and dad were 6 years difference, Vee's mum and dad were, ,me and my ex were...all failed relationships. So there has to be some truth in it?)

Anyway. We got on ok mostly. Although it was like a seesaw. When we got on well, we got on really well, but mostly...we really didn't. Having said that, at that young age (I was 16-19) it had a bit of an impact. But at the end, it didnt. As you get older, the age gap closes relevance I think.

The oldest guy that ever took interest, was 42. We got on really well, and could talk for ages. He was good looking, had a brilliant job. But it was really ikky. I could fit into his lifestyle, but he could NEVER have fitted into mine. And the fact that he might have wanted to...made me feel a bit sick really. So he was prized away. Also, he was older than my mum! WRONG! Was for me anyway. He'd have never have kept up!lololololololol

I would not at this young age consider ANYONE even a bit younger than me. Even a guy my own age now I don't think. For the most part, they do not have a clue, and have a hell of alot of growing up to do.

The oldest I would consider is about 34. The youngest (although its never set instone is it...) is about 25
