used to be fooking disgraceful around Kings Cross, but now that they're doing loads of building works the coppers are all ower it & they have moved on, so now it's Chapel Market & the top of the Grays Inn Road...

used to work around there, and one lunchtime I saw summat that has affected me ever since... sounds like nowt saying it (yer had to be there) but it really shocked me... there was a really good looking, obviously well off businesswoman type... probably late twenties, tanned, blonde, everything in the right place etc... (and we're talking smart here... briefcase, laptop, smart handbag, blackberry, NICE suit, expensive shoes the whole nine yards)...

Anyroad, turned out she was scoring off one of the dealers who hang around that area (anyone who's been there knows what they are like)... this scumbag basically grabbed this woman by the wrists & dragged her off the main road down a side alley, ripped a few notes out of her hand, then proceeded to gob over her shoulder (only just missing her face) into the street, then turned & walked off. This woman then kneeled down in the middle of the street and was poking around in the splat of gob to find the rock... I tell you, I couldn't believe what I was seeing... it was truly a "there but for the grace" moment...

sorry for the downer tho peeps!
