| Shock......... Got back from the hospital this morning 5.00am , feck........ I took a cover off a Infrared heater on the printer at work , thought it was isolated  Never had a electric shock before, flash bang put me on my arse  First aider took me to the hospital Nurse Hooked me up to an ECG had blood samples etc etc........  Im ok though it was Only 400 Volts

| Must be the day for it... circuit breakers at my house were popping like fireworks last night cos my dozy moo of an other half had doused the kettle plug-in base bit in water. This was discovered a short while (and several mains resets) after asking her if she remembered possibly accidentally getting it wet at any point, and being berated for daring to even ask such a ridiculous question... anyhoo... dried off & easily sorted, just hoping the multiple resets haven't done owt expensive to me Hi-Fi or other bits  400 volts must have smarted a bit! Glad yer OK mate |

| It could have killed a lesser man, or at least one with a dodgy ticker so glad you're ok People still think it's funny to electrocute their mates on building sites though lol

| crikey!! glad you ok hun. only ever bad shock I got was when a mate had an old stereo and she had a thread bare wire so she put some tape over it....anyway she had to stretch the lead across the room to the plug (too lazy to shift the stereo) and i was sleeping over at her house. I came in bedroom after getting outta the bath and stood on this cable at the point it was taped up.... ZAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.  I ended up on the floor seeing stars and thanking god i was still alive. Mates dad took me to hosital and got me checked out had a bad red welt on bottom of me foot for a few weeks and besides being a bit frazzled i was fine, lol I am really careful with electrical items now - i dont even like changing a plug

| I had a shock a couple of years ago, reached round the back of a subwoofer and felt for the pins of a 3 pin socket to make sure I was plugging it in the right way up, but as I held the plug in the same hand, it jumped the gap and I shot across the living room and landed in the corner Scared the fuck out of me, I just sat there clutching my left side in case I was gonna peg it, sat there for about 10 minutes before I got up as didn't think I was still alive |
