| Try some stuff called Builders chalk ( pronounced cork ?? ) you dont have to sand it, just put it on and smooth with a damp cloth, but thats only if its a small-ish hole. This stuff is ace for filling around skirting and door frames as it very flexible so it doesnt crack like normal filler. I have used normal filler before on my skimmed walls but it always cracks this stuff works amazingly if its a big hole then ya better get ya filler or browning out then skim over it.
