I remember the books that you used to be able to choose your adventure - if you choose to go left on the path, turn to page 68 etc....
and the ones you could send away for and have your name incorporated into the story

My mate ordered the Faraway Tree off the net a while ago....was wicked remeniscing, although i'm ready to start world war 3 over Joe Bessie & Fanny now being Joe Betty (or something equally as rubbish) and FRANNY!!! LOL.

I recall saucepan man too, and the angry man or something? and the land of topsy turvy or whatevr, where you had to tie cushions to your arse

I used to really wish such a place existed, get myself down there and try some of moonface's toffee
