| An Amp & A Double Tape Deck Ive got these that someone can have if they come and pick them up next week sometime  otherwise Im just going to chuck em. They both work btw but they are old

| Hey we might have the amp. We bought a fancy Moth single deck to play expensive classical on in the front room (yeah yeah, isn't life fucking peachy) but we need and amp apparantly an all. Let us know if its still spare. I will check with Tecno boy if it will do, sunno if it needs to be summat specif like.

| Its an Alamo. I have actually no idea why it is better than a normal deck for playing this kind of music. If you are going to start collecting vinyl, send us a pm with what kind of stuff you like. We have so much spare stuff that its even in the out buildings now. We have boxes of classical if anyone wants it.

| yea... I know yer Moth Alamo... 'tis familiar to me... either that or a nice Planar 3 if I can find one.. tbh I have no plans to collect vinyl, (might take you up on yer offer tho!) it's more that without any means of spinning slates I feel like me HiFi's missing summat... incid. it's cool to have separate turntables fer mixage, because DJ decks are designed differently from HiFi decks like the Alamo... All the DJ's on here will probably shoot me for saying this, but stuff like teh moth is designed to damage the recky as little as possible whilst reading from it as accurately as possible... this means it'd be utterly shite fer mixing. Whereas yer 1210's or whatever are a bit more rugged (heavier carts etc) designed for more handson mixage type stuff. That extra ruggedness & weight means you'll lose a bit of sound quality, and yer slates prolly won't last as long... that's my unnerstandin of it anyway... |
