Back once again, been poorly sick
I got acute Cellulitus, an infection in my leg. Flu symptoms and a leg twice the normal size, they told me at the hozzy another 6 hours I'd have had scepticemia followed by organ failure and all the fun (near death stuff) that goes with it. Good eh. Never had pain like it. Not recommended. Still a bit swollen though. Had 2 weeks off work.
Fortunately saw lots of footy though in between the delerium. No idea how I got it, possibly an insect bite or a cut on my foot. Bag of shite.

Thanks all. No idea how I got it, although I had my garden cleared on the Sat, so maybe it unearthed something. Bloody southern insects. Still got a bit of a swollen foot (oo-er) but my antibiotics finish today wheich means I can have a pint on my birthday tomorrow. Get in!

there was a nice Irish nurse administering my injections so not all bad.....

Very gentle eyes and hands, rubbish at finding the vein
