I found it intresting, and calmed me down after the appalling pro immigration slanted documentary before it, then after the Ebay thing I tuned into todays "newsnight" program with old Paxo.......

Ive got loadsa stuff i could be selling and really need to if im honest...but the whole thing daunts me too much.....havnt the first clue and the fraud issue puts me off too

the only Fraud on ebay is their listing fees and then their partners companies fees (paypal)







Tlaking of fraud, Ebay nicked the idea and then claimed they invent ed the concept...gottaken to court but made an out of court settlement for £198million...nice to see a dotcom buisness maknig money....ba5tards!!!

Did any of you catch the old Horizon about Stephen Hawkins and his space time theories of how things simply disappear when a black hole collapses, and how it took a scholar three years solid work to understand what theories Hawkins had calculated and proven in his head in about 20 minutes without even being able to write any of it down? .

It was amazing. No, Im not being sarcastic!.

I dont care if thats geeky - I dont even begin to know about these sorts of things, or even want to, but I can appreciate awesome people like that and they laymans terms for what he is on about, even though the laymans terms are mind bending enough! lol.

Yeah I saw that. Found it interesting that most people "in the know" wouldn't even put Hawking in their top 20 physicists though...

I'm not too sure about the disappearing matter theory though. He said that the black hole would would radiate heat and eventually "burn out" so surely whatever went into it would come out as heat? That would agree with one of the fundamental laws of physics that you cannot destroy matter - only change it from one form to another. So I don't really buy his "sum over histories" idea, where there will be universes that don't contain black holes - to balance out the loss of matter in ones that do.

The more I read up on the subject the less conviced I become on the idea of singularities too. I have some mad ideas me, about black holes. It's just a shame I lack the maths and physics skills to prove myself right or wrong!
