Phone contract

~I've just rang T-mobile to say I wanted to cancel my contract, and managed to get them to cut my line rental by HALF and chuck in 50 free texts and an extra 45 free mins. Tight cnuts wouldn't give me a new handset though, but as my old one isn't broke, I guess I don't really need one.

how longs the half price line rental an free mins for?
an what are ya getting for yer money?
because most phones free on a twenty five or so tariff get a £300/£350 handset free on an upgrade an there's a few mint phones about in the next few weeks.
(plus the waranty will run out on the other phone at 12 months)

Ive gone back to pay as u go for the time being....the contracts on offer atm arnt great so i think ill stick around and wait for the companies to start battling with each other first lol.......then pounce for the better deals

They gave me 145 mins which is plenty, coz it's not often I sit gibbering away on the phone for hours and hours. Also got 50 free texts, and it's £11.00 a month for twelve months.

To be honest I'm not even arsed about a new handset. I've gone right off the mobile phone craze, and really can't be arsed what a phone does. As long as it makes phone calls I'm happy.

I've come to realize that phones are a load of bollocks.

In the last twelve months I can honestly say that I've never used bluetooth for any practical purpose.

I've never used it as an mp3 player.

I've used the radio a couple of times when the radio in the warehouse was broken, but the battery drains that fast it's not worth it.

Making video clips is amusing for 5 mins, but then you realize how crap the quality actually is, and get tired of squinting at a screen that's smaller than a matchbox.

And, if I want to take pictures I'll use my dedicated 4.0 megapixel camera in 2272x1704 resolution.

I've also never used WAP, what's it good for really?

im always thinking about going on contract but then realise if i did have a contract fone the bill would be major high

i use the fone in work all day, i get free calls on my home phone and then i use the mobile if i need to when im out so i cant moan realy coz i dont pay for a fraction of the calls i make

i sent off for a free sim card a few months ago and its realy good, stick £10 on it and you get 300 free texts every month aswell as the £10 in calling or texin credit so if ur a texer go for one of them babys,

Its true that, i've got an all singing, all dancing one....and after the first week of pissin about with it I got bored, since then the only thing i have used it for is....making calls n txts, an I've prob used the camera about 3 times

Gonna swop it with my little sis for a box standard Nokia 3200, because if I aint had a shave for a couple of days (which is nearly always!) my stubble gets caught in the keys on my posh one an it rips it out! It hurts like fook n'all

Couldn't agree more, i'm upgrading mine at the weekend, i phoned the phone fella up the other day and he gave me a list of the latest phones i could have and what they did and i had to stop him halfway through cos i really couldn't give a shit about all that. I just want a phone to make and recieve calls and texts, it's simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although ever since Shoomy saw the fella on the bus wearing that fabulous cat shirt last year sometime, i can see the practical uses of having a camera to hand, otherwise he would naver have been able to take a picture and share that comedy moment with us, so i'll stretch as far as calls, texts and the ability to take photos!!!!!
