This weeks premiership review (kind off)

I suspect a few of ya's have seen the premiership highlights although i have to admit i only saw em this dinner time lol.

Some cracking games this weekend.

Wigan v Chelsea

How unlucky were wigan, i really felt for the players. They gave everything that came and has Jose said they (chelsea) didnt deserve the three points. Lets hope thats the start of great things to come for Wigan.

Arsenal v Newcastle

This should have been a much better game than it was, spoilt my a ref eager to make a name for himself It was no way a red card offence that tackle by jenas and as the newspapers have reported it has now been changed to a yellow. Its mad how ref's can influence a game so much by a rash decsion

Boro v Liverpool

Not much to say about this game really aprt from how did gerrard not add to his pre season goal tally.

Some other tasty games were West Ham v Blackburn, Wat a game that was. Can see the hammers doing well with there strike partnership of Reo Coker and Teddy.

Wont even mention the united game lol but will say that Everton should really have got more out of it

Andy

Well lets be honest bud, Our game wasnt great or shall i say the result but i went to the previous one at home and we played them off the park / pitch lol

I think in all honesty we will do well if we keep the best players fit and free of bans.

I wasnt avoiding the sitaution but has i have been off it was the first time i saw the prem review proggy as i was out on sat ann not on the planet on sunday

We should've stuffed 'Wall, but let them back into it.

Cardiff... enough said.

Luton, prior to this seasons campaign I would've said we'd stuff them, but they're off to a flyer, so I guess a point was ok...

Wolves will be a tough one, and then Norrige away... where I think we'll get 3 points.

If Healy stays we'll be fine and up there...

On a positive note, we're above Soton, Leicester, Ipswich, Norrige, and Wednesday... not much is it?!!!...

Aye , watched most of the games and really really felt sorry for Wigan , I thought they could/should have got the 3 points (where was chelseas midfield ?) A class strike from crespo , and i suppose thats the difference. United werent totally convincing apart from Rooney who looked a class apart at times. Newcastle very unlucky to see jenas go off (though he wont get a 3match ban as the refs admitted his mistake) . West ham my fav london club did great Liverpool (my team) played a bit of a defense minded formation (playing Morientes up front alone) showed too much respect to Boro , Stevie should of put some away ,but they werent as clear cut chances as has been mentioned...Good entertaining start to the season though. hope Wigan stay up ,..Cmon u Reds

now that is a surprise to see you post that....

i think walk in the park would have been more appropriate (just kiddin mick)

handled everythin that they threw at us, a few shaky moments i'll give u that, but on a whole we never looked like losing. Everton played quite well to be fair and we did it without ronnie who is gonna be up there with young wayne for young player of the year defo

Must say it was all a bit of an anti climax.
I have to say that was probably the most low key start to a premiership season I can remember for a long time. Not just the painful plod that was the city game but as a whole.
No real "super goals" apart from Crespo and a decent strike from Reo- Coker (in my fantasy team!), no six goal thrillers, it has just started with a whimper. Is this just me or is it a general feeling?

United win at Everton (yawn). Newcastle loose to Arse (yawn), Chelsea win at Wigan (yawn), City draw at home to WBA (YAWN), Henry scores, Van Nistledive scores, Souness crying again, its all a bit boring.
Now maybe its the mid week blues, or I'm feeling bitter as I probably got out of my seat once on Saturday, please correct me if I'm being pessimistic
