Looking for a new job!

Some of you might be aware that Ive recently had some shite with my job. Well its not got any better since theyve fired my colleague and now another colleague of mine has just left These were the 2 people I got on the best with

Heres some of the story here, if you want to read it

Job Shit

Well anyway, Ive decided to find a new job, so am looking for some ideas of what to do

Its not a career Im looking for, its just a job. But I need decent money and p/t flexible hours and close to where I live

Im considering becoming a driving instructor, so was just wondering if anyone has ever done that as a job, or knows anyone who has/is and what is it like?

Or any other suggestions to what I can do Serious ones now

Cheers

Sweet xx

My old man became a driving instructor after leaving the Navy, he found it very very stressful and quit it after 3 weeks. Saying that though, he was doin it self employed and maybe he couldnt be assed with the insecurity of it all.

My mates in the process of learnin to be a Drivin Instructor now...

He said it aint as easy as u think, lots of exams (although he aint the sharpest knife in the drawer tbh ) & Fairly expensive.

Did say once you qualify many of the big schools guarentee work.

Sounds alreet when ya pass, not bad money and u set what hours u work

So no Satdays/Sundays goin in

My dad did the same, tried it for a couple of months an hated it, plus like someone else said the exams are suppose to be s.o.l.i.d

Think it used to be a top job, but ya see all them 'be an instructor' ads everywhere so its got a bit hammered.

not something I can see you doing..

I've thought about it before but can imagine the work being thinly spread out...there's always ads in the paper for trainee instructors but do you know how much work you get once qualified?

Ok I'll give you the no patience comment but have you ever been in a car when I have been driving?

I am an excellent driver I have been driving for 10yrs, have a clean driving license and have only had one minor accident which was both partys fault (the other party being a learner driver) and that was in Portugal just a few months after I had passed my test.

I’m having the same issues here n’all, I have never known such a group of snidy, underhand, petty adults in all my life!!! I’ve just been called to my manager again who had asked me to dress more appropriately on the wards as one of my consultants has remarked on it. I came back to the office and told my directorate manager and he said yes I know, it was brought up at the last directorates meeting that your tattoos are on show!!!!!

Why didn’t they just pop it down in a global e-mail and get everyones opinion about it before talking to me!!!!!

I shall be getting a copy of every job paper I can find so we can have a ganders and sort our job issues out when you come over later. Just keep thinking “What would Bridget do”!!!!!

Thats terrible!!! as if you having tattoos means you cant do the job!

Some people are born to be wankers, whilst other people (like you and me) get wankers thrust upon them

Lol! Bridget would say if working here means working 1 inch near you, Id rather have a job wiping saddam husseins arse! (or something like that anyway) and thats exactly how I feel right now

My new boss is slimy, patronising, sexist, do you know who I am, arrogant wanker and I cant bare working with him another minute

People like that I have no time for

No-one in my office likes him and hes completely oblivious!!!!

Get those papers ready
