Im going to take a days holiday the day after it gets released and spend all my holiday nonstop kicking arse on it and I cant bloody wait

Its released 21st June, did you also know the game hasnt even been released and already its gone gold with sales ????

How much anticipation for a game ?????????????????

whats it like that bud? is it easy to get into? not played it before but ive heard of people being addicted to it.

first game i played in ages was half life 2 and i hammerd that for a good while

Butty I wouldnt bother mate.

Thats battlefiled Vietnam, this is my favorite game of all time, and I play it extensively, but its purely an online game mate and youll not get an online key, there is a FPS game on there but its shit and the AI will stand there shooting in the air and stuff, they fly helicopters like a pendulam swinging, its good jumping into a hue and missiling the shit out of every one but that game is purely made for online play, best to buy it and well fooking worth it, best 25.00 I ever spent in my opinion buying BFV ive had weeks of none stop fun on there

This one thats due out though is going to be even better

Ive got on CD someone Battlefiled 1942 with codes too, I'll see if I can route them out and send you them, save you downloading it and give you a slight idea what vietnam will be like.

Personally i think vietnam is far better but 1942 is set in the deserts / gulf and is the gulf conflict I think

Vietnam is exactly what it says oon the tin, and BF2 is now adays, and its going to fooking rock the world mate

The american ones come with a headset for free because its a team game and one person has to be the general of the army and he get intelegence on where the other team are from people in planes, then he has to direct troops on foot / tanks to parts of the map in order to ambush them.

Also if your infantry and your in shit, you need to be able to speak to the guys who are flying the helo's in order to get there arses over the where you are if your out numbered

So everyone will be speaking on a server thats built into the game I think. To give messages and to give the broken arrow command

So butty its deffo a buy one this as youll not get online without an online code. There will be a onbe player but they have put that much effort into this game for online team play it will be totally shit.

They have changed the scoring system as well, its not just about kills, if your a help pilot and your transfering people to different parts of the map due to the generals comand you get points for each person you deliver safely, i think if then paracute oute of the helo and get shot you lose points so you have to fly carefully quick drop them and get the fook out. If your a machanic you get points for repairing tanks that may have been mortored or jeeps that are needed to get your troops to where they have been ordered to, if your infantry you in the firing line and get points for kills obviously lol

Tank drivers get points for taking out other artilary, and so on, planes for info to general and bombing enemy targets set by general.

I think the point system is something like the above but it hasnt all been finalised yet.

You can choose which position you want to play however you need to be of a high ranked player to be a general, so a noob couldnt jump on a server and be a general, you have to have a decent record of play, all your stats are kept by EA Games so you get ranked on your skill in the game and only when your a dam good fighter will you get to be able to play general status.

For obvious reasons the teams will be english verses french speakers or english speakers verses german speakers simply for communication purposes.

Its going to be fecking awsome and im proper excited about it

Yeah, i noticed that on the EA site, u gettin the US one then?

I've got a USB headset for me ps2, dont suppose u know if that will work?

Ive already got a head set mate, you can pick them up for about 5 - 10 quid from comet or anywhere like that

I was in a clan on battlefiled vietnam and you need to have a headset so you can talk to each other about where the enemy is on that, but this new one you have to follow your generals comand or you basically get your arse kicked, so its rather like having a manager in football, get a good team and a good general and you kick ass, get a shit general and your pretty fooked, however saying that you need good pilots inorder to give the general good intellegence for him to make his tactics and stuff, its all about team play this game, the whole emphisis is on playing as a team and strong team working skills, theres no room for rambo in this game lol

I doubt that a ps2 headset will work but if you could find drivers to install it then it could do.

If you guys get the game, i'll give you a shout and we could all jump online for a game like
