i got mine lookin better in the end (big thx to jd7) it turned out the onboard sound on the m/board was usin the resrources and making it judder (oo err) but now it is smooth as hell on low pretty good on medium and all. only problem is now tho is i want it to look better coz i know it can lol. anyone any suggestions on upgrades i could get to make it better

my heat sync fell off my processor whilst playing doom3, I got 2 frames per second out of it and still managed to get past a level lol, if that had been an AMD it would have fizzled and blown immediately, but good old failthfull pentiums keep on going

heat went to over 110 took a couple of days to get its head together but it came back no chance with that on an AMD

Re over clocking, youve got to have a decent fan on it if your going to overclock and you need to be very carefull and only do it a bit at a time or youll blow your card, i wouldnt try it cause it will reduce the life span of the card by a considerable amount.

Ive not actuall gon in the settings on this or even looked if there are any graphic settings in the demo tbh, but if there are you want to take off all shadows and you will find it will run a lot smoother, then you can increase graphics and play aboot wi settings

got that riva tuner and nudged it up a bit and now its runnin smooth on medium so thatl do me noicely. did wack it up more at first but i was gettin all glitches and trails all round the screen. id thought someone had spiked me with 2c head f@ck lol. its got 2 fans on me video card so i rekon itl b reet.if the glitches appear again i know it aint so il cock it back down again. and if the worse comes to the worse and it does blow i spose il jus have to go n buy a better one. damn n blast lol

anyways i got in in the end with osa-butty. its a whole new ball game playin other people. i was addicted to the single player thing but fek me this is wacky as hell

Wait till we get a little clan and go into battles mate, We will need either our own forum dedicated to it or a closed off part of this forum to only clan members,

In there we will come up with tactical play for each clan match and different tactics on each game, it gets real competative in clan matches but with a bit of practice I reckon the OSA'ers will kick some ass

We dont want to be spamming tactics in the chill out room, plus we dont want other clans geting hold of our tactics either

All thats when we cross the T's and dot the i's once its out, we can have a head count and i'll get us all the link for clanbase on there and we will all sign up to clanbase and get enlisted into different clan matches.

How feckin mint would it be OSA at the top of the UK clanbase ? ?

Finally got round to gettin the demo yesterday...installed it, ran it an....

...It kept freezin just after the ads

Checked google to see if anyone else had that prob...and loads of peeps did, suprise, suprise..all of us with the same graphics card

Apparently the ATI Radeon 9200se aint a compatible card!

..but then I noticed if ya change ya AGP from x8 to x4 it suppose to work, so checked mine at it was showing my AGP as x0

Another load of pissin about followed an I found other people with teh same prob again an it said to update ya AGP driver, done that and it was showin at x8..changed it to x4 and....BINGO!!

Been playin' it a bit this mornin'...looks a top game, graphics are smooth on my PC on singleplayer, not tried multiplayer yet tho.

I'll have to get some practise in before the full game comes
