Valentine's Day

Has everybody got their yearly heartshaped chocolates and various other lovey dovey tat yet?

For some reason I'm still trying to fathom out, myself and Milenko are going to go to Manchester early doors on Saturday do buy our missus' some lovely gifts from Anne Summers.

So to recap:

Our girlfriends are sending us into town, to buy lingerie shopping for them.

God help them.

"Sorry Vicky, couldn't find anything decent from town, so I bought meself some vinyl and Stella...."

(Only joking, I will get her summat nice.)

But why do we do this every year? If you love someone, why are we pushed into buying a load of tat every friggin' year?!

What's everybody else doing for this overhyped day?

Its a weird one this year, things arnt going quite swimmingly enough 4 me to spend loads, but all the same, it needs to be something special & original. iv got hardly anything to spend but i dnt wanna get any pink fluffy cheap crap, what can i get???? i know he would say...records, but thats hardly original since he already has a squillion of those, and tis an expensive option. god knows...

call me a scrooge if ya like, but all this splashing out on valentines is just a great big commercial con..

if you cant show your love, appreciation and affection to your partner all year round then really there is not point at all if u only do it on valentines day ...

so for me, it will have to be a loving personal gesture .. a reminder of what we already share
