hehe, yeah love any arty films with twists to em, had me glued right until the pretty daft ending (as nath recognised too) .... still, i think the daftness of the ending adds to it really .... well it all makes sense anyways ......

picked it up for 50p in the throwout video box of our local video shop years ago .... well chuffed with it for a mashup film have you seen cube 2: hypercube? lol .... got it on my comp here. the producers have only tried to be all technically flash with the graphics, traps etc which has backfired badly !!

i actually spotted a copy of the first one in a charity shop just before xmas when buying a load of films for my mates for their xmas pressies but didnt pick it up for some reason .... i'll see if its stil there and if so you can have a pressie from danny @ the next hazy hehe

other beuts to add to the list :-

breakin' (i'm nitro @ uni )
trainspotting
jurassic park
transformers the movie
alive
the devils advocate

and i thoroughly reccommend this ..... 'the best of youth' (which i posted about before here too http://www.oldskoolanthemz.com/forum...ad.php?t=37348 )
review = http://www.filmfocus.co.uk/review.asp?ReviewID=75
it took me two seperate sittings of 3 hours each to see the whole of it !!! at one of those crappy (but good ) arthouse cinemas .... but it was superb .... interesting and insightful .... dunno if its out on video/dvd or not thou yet, would like to know if it is ......

another good one i saw recently was 'the motorcycle diaries' ....

lol

will you like before sunrise and before sunset. Honey you will love them. They star julie delpy and ethan hawke generally just walking and talking. But it will blow your mind. First one (sunrise) made in 1995 set in vienna sequel (sunset) made in 2004 and set in paris. I have goosebumps just typing. I took my girlfriend to the latter in the summer and it was one of our first dates and I cried like a baby nearly all the way through lol
Needless to say the first one is a gigantic cliffhanger and I had to wait nine years to find out what happened. So thats why it was such a big deal to me. If you trust me on amelie and paradiso this will also move you in mysterious ways. I spend an unhealthy amount of time IMDB.com talking about my fave films its sad but true.

Here is trailer for second one. Has a great song playing throughout called edge of the ocean by ivy
