Stiches.......

Can anyone tell me what happens when you have stiches removed!!!!!

Is it just a case of snipping them out or what!!!!

Never had stiches before now and i have only one....this should have disolved but alas like everything else with nhs its taking its time!!!!!

i have just spoken to the hosp ward i was in and they said to just go the gp nurse and have it whipped out!!!!!

so......what do they do...just snip with scissors or sumthing else.........!!!!

anyone help me out here!!! lol

They usually cut them with a hacksaw and pull them out with their teeth nah j/j they snip them and pull them out with tweezers its not painfull.

So they are telling me to make the effort to go all the way to the nurse for her to have her tweezers at the ready FFS i could that myself, for the sake of one stich!!!!!

Debbs when I had my back done, I had 6 internal stiches, which were disolavable ones and 7 external which were normal one's... My mum whipped mine out for me hun... So if your passing... feel free to swing by our's and you can come and meet my chicklins and sheeps!

Awwwwww thanks chicken.......i will defo come over at sum point to see everyone and bring my din dan do aswell cus he wants to get know peeps a bit better........so will defo arrange sumthing chicken.........with regard to the stitch might just just whoop it out myself then lol..........!!!

debs, just snip one side of the stitch below the knot and pull the stitch out slowly with a pair of tweezers.

it doesnt hurt at all and with them being dossolvable stitches it will come out real easy.

Lol nurse Finn will sort it out hahahha!!!!! salt bath afterward and way hey back to being in one piece!!!!!

lolol well i didnt have to snip the stitch out it dropped out on its own.........winner!!!!! so im now stitch free and ready to rock and roll lolololol!!!!!!!

I once twisted a bollock lol sounds funny but it really is`nt believe me(it`s were one of your testicals turns right round and affects the blood supply causing it to swell,which did look quite good for a few seconds lol until agonising pain set in)anyway I ended up with about ten stitches in my scrotum and three permanent ones inside to prevent it happening again but hardly felt a thing when they came out........

I had that ! I had a bollock that was nearly 3 times the size of t'other , luckily I had no stitches , I remember going to the infirmary at night (by then I was in agony) and I had a 2 nurses (female) eyeing up my bloated bollock , needless to say that has become a memory that I often think of , but the nurses are doing other things in this memory , that I'm sure didnt happen at the time

cant tell u where the lone stictch was other than use ur imagination!!! (debs now resumes normal duties lol) wink wink, nudge nudge!!!!!!

yes i was in stitches cus i was looking for it and thought fcuk its gone...then i found it floating in the bath tub....winner!!!!!!!
