got the lurgi (again) lol

Yeah it's another 'feeling sorry for myself' thread lol

Got a fecking lurgi at the mo, feeling like poo, been aching and snotting and now got the sore throat from hell, typical innit, just in time for NYE and NYD's activities.

I've got beechams things in, caplets and powders and beechams sore throat lozzengers, plus co-codamol and all sorts of stuff to attack it all with.

Just hoping it doesn't last much longer as feeling poo puts a downer on ya nights out and that.

Anyone else suffering?

Sleep and Sweat! I know it sounds disgusting but tis the only way.

Get your heating wacked up full and get into bed with loads of layers on, having already taken enough over the counter medication to knock an elephant out. When you arise in the morning and remove your layers like a butterfly from a chrysalis (lol) you should feel much better.

Failing that Nurse Debs above should be able to sort you lol (who needs a chemist?)!
