How did you find OSA?

its quite sad but i have a mac and i think god put me on this earth to collect as many oldskool 89-93 mp3s as possiblebut the links hear are not compatible for me to then burn the tunes onto disc
i need help becuse share ware programs such as limewire acquisttion are shit for rare amazing tunes

Found it through my lovely husband flange we used to go to GoodTimes in morley and everyone knew me as flange's wife and kept telling me to join osa so one day i did and the rest is history

I discovered this site a couple of months back.

I was searching for a tune on Google and OSA showed up I bookmarked it, but I was busy with other things at the time to start reading it properly.

Now I can't leave the site for too long as it's full of people that are into the same music as I am and no doubt some of you went to the same clubs as I did (Wigan Pier, Maximes, Legends, Pleasuredrome, Hippodrome, Bowlers, Hacienda, Cream, Angels, etc.) and probably the same record shops (Eastern Block, Bass Place, Beat Street (I had to sing loads of songs in there every week because I didn't know what they were called lol) Vinyl Exchange, Hott Waxx etc.

i while back i googled 'economix', 'the 6 train' and 'sandman - psychosis' it bought me here and i knew i was staying, quite a few peeps here with the same late 80s early 90s dance scene nostalgia... For example; someone posted some 91 eastern bloc top 10 sheets on here a few weeks ago, its those little touches that make this site top as fuck!!

Followed link from the Timeless site. First Timeless I went to was in 2003 - first one in the Zoo I think. How pleased woz I that so many people were into these quality tunes, prompting an immediate dusting off of my old vinyl

I've been visiting as a guest to OSA regularly ever since - only just got round to filling out the forum registration page... not one for bureaucracy me.

Unfortunately I missed the boat when it comes down to Oldskool. I don’t claim to know a lot about the yester years of dance music, which I’m pretty sad about but that’s exactly why I joined the forum, I read what the “tune anoraks” have to say, and listen to the tunes that they rate. I hope and want to be, the new generation of dance music and I can only make good new tunes by listening to good old tunes. I think that a lot of my generation take the past for granted. I don’t. I know I wasn’t a part of the Oldskool but I learn from it and respect it.



I’ve gotta give stee, nics and melenko a shout (AAAAYYYY), they where the ones who told me about OSA. Cheers.
