lol huns,
my mum once Burnt boiled eggs, yes thas right Burnt, some body knocked at the foront door and while she was talking the water completly boiled off and the dry eggs where left in the pan. all that was left where 3 round lumps of char whelded to the bottom of the pan.

but she acktuly a good cook, scouse is a recapie thats hard to do well, and evry one makes it slightly different you could devote a whole thread to it and the scouers on here would argue as to what does and dosent go into a good pan of scouse, or which way to cook it, but im sure theyed all agree it takes years to master, and they will all think there gran make the best scouse in the world.

Especially anything a little more unusual... seeing as we're all flung far and wide around the place, no doubt there will be some interesting replies (I'm not scared of the kitchen by any means - I positively love cooking a meal for friends n family). Let me know any strange ingredients too...

Marmite, developed a real taste for this stuff. i used to hate it but all of a sudden i try it again after years of not eating it n now i love it. i even jst eat it out of the pot when i cnt b bothered to make anything.

Shepards Pie with lots of red cabbage, Lamb cassarole. Those two dishes really remind me of wintery eating. I love 'em.
