Attempt number 6,000,254,325,555,461

Yes I'm at it again, another hair brained attempt to beat the weed, so far I have gone nearly 36 hours without a ciggy and I think I can beat this attrosious infliction

At the moment im on gum at the moment but soon I plan on going cold turkey. I know what its like cause it was only 6 months ago that I stopped for 6 months and then foolishly started. What a prick I am. However I know im a true quitter and I know that no matter how tough or how hard life gets, I will just quit cause I can do this.

its said to be harder than giving up smack, I reckon thats cause its socially acceptable to smoke though and its feckin everywhere.

I so much wish id never touched them in my life, all that waisted money that could have gone on more worthwile drugs rather than nicotine, like erm, paracteomol and asprins and the likes

keep at it m8

I gave up about 5 years ago, not gonna pretend it is easy but it is deffo worth it in the end. I was able to smoke social for 2 years i.e just in Pubs and when I was pissed like, but soon you get too a stage where you wake up in the morning thinking i felt shit from smoking last night etc..... anyway m8 you get over the cold turky quite quickly, but it is peer group pressure and having a bevvie and feeling like aving a fag that is the real killa... will power m8

last time i stopped was a new years day about 3 years ago.
Lasted 7 months (not a drag), then decided I was in control enough to just have a smoke with a pint.
By the next new years day I was back smoking full time.
But now I'm 30, its definitely time to draw the line.
I reckon in 20 years when the doctor tells me I have to stop or I'll die,
I won't find it too hard.
So why not now....

We're moving offices in a couple of weeks and its gonna be a no smoking office - all 5 of us smoke at the moment and we're all quiting simultaneously!!!

Its gonna be the grumpiest, narciest, most bad tempered office the world has ever seen!

Good luck on ya Cam
I gave up totally one and a half years ago. Really mucked up me mind for a while. Used to forget things but it soon wore off (even forgot that i had gone to the shop in my car one day! wasnt until i got home and it wasnt on the drive i realised.) . I replaced fags with chocolate but the only prob being is that i put on 2 and a half stone. I had already given up the weed so it was just tobacco i was fighting but if you smoke both id give up one then the other later as all togethr its just to much. My doctor even said that to give up full stop is also very bad for your health would you beleive! As your body needs time.
Anyway Bournville Plain Chocolate is the answer my friend - the new drug of the future!
