Me too!!!!

I went all last week without one then smoked 20 at the weekend. Now i'm attempting to go at least two weeks.

I can do it no problem when i'm at home on my own, it's when i'm out and about or people come round that i really struggle. I think i've found it quite easy this time cos i have no choice in the matter. I'm so skint it's not even funny anymore so i don't even have the temptation to pop out and get some cos i just can't do it.

At the moment im on gum at the moment but soon I plan on going cold turkey. I know what its like cause it was only 6 months ago that I stopped for 6 months and then foolishly started. What a prick I am. However I know im a true quitter and I know that no matter how tough or how hard life gets, I will just quit cause I can do this.

Good luck mate... i quit about 3 years ago and have never regretted it...they taste horrible,cost too much and KILL YOU....

That's why i always find it so hard to give up, cos i actually like it!!!!!

It smells horrible and costs me shit loads of money but i like it!!!!!

You really notice the smell when you give up, if someones just been out for a fag and they come in and sit near you, they smell like a dirty ash tray, or if you go out and come in and all your clothes stick of fags, proper horrible smell, but i must admit when you havent had a fag for ages, its great having a smoke

Although saying that, 90% of fags I smoked anyway I didnt really want them I was just smoking them cause they were there and habit rather than really feeling the need for them

Im ok cause i dont smoke spliffs so thats not a concearn of mine, ill only have a smoke if ive been drinking ( spliff that is )

Apparantly, the nicotine only stays in your body for 48 hours or so, after that you don't crave nicotine at all you're just in the habit of smoking. That's why hypnotherapy works so well in giving up.

I've now got into the habit of not smoking through the week and i don't really have a problem with it at all. I had my last cig on sunday morning and i've hardly thought about it since. What i am thinking though is "am i gonna be able to manage at the weekend"!!!!!!!

I did 6 months a few months ago and started again so I'm thinking that the adiction should only be the last few months of smoking so its easier than previously, ive only got 1 chewy left with the nicotine in it and its a 2mg one after that im cold turkey

My problem is once ive done it I think " that was easy " then i slip back into smoking again
