I've never liked the taste of diet drinks (with the exception of diet coke with lemon) as they ALL taste sweeter to me, isn't that wrong in itself?!

The e-mail does come across as scaremongering, and like all the many things that have been bad for us over the years, I doubt I'd stop drinking/eating them, eggs, beef, bread etc - if we treated everything we read/heard as gospel, we'd never eat or drink a thing, and then where would we be? DEAD from not eating and drinking, that's where.

Moderation is the key, apart from chemicals of course, boost them

LOL, that's pretty much all I drink... Mainly due to the fact that I can get more free Pepsi than you can shake a stick at from work. I usually drink diet coz I worry about the massive ammounts of sugar in the normal stuff. It's something crazy like 13 teaspoons of sugar per can. and I don't want m teeth to rot out.

Another quality urban legend about Coca Cola / Pepsi is that it will dissolve a penny. HAHAHAHA!

Agreed...(to an extent)

But still makes me laugh!

I don't drink coke, diet coke, I don't eat at Mcshittwits or any other fast food places. Its all shit.

Read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser (you probably have already) Good read and guaranteed to make you never set foot in these places ever again! (unless well and truley spannered of course )

Oh My God !!

OH My God I am diabetic and I drink tons of diet coke because i i am supposed to be on a low fat low sugar diet, my doctor or dietician have never mentioned this to me , and this is probably the cause of my heavy memory loss, Thanks for bringing this to my attention , I have heard also that this aspartame is banned in other countries, and it also makes me think that my doctor and dietician are incompitent...

Cheers
Acestu as ever !(Now I Know Why Though)
