It's strange, and I've said this before..

It's often looked upon as 'sad or geeky' meeting people from an internet forum, nevermind the aspect that they might be meeting up for a bit of 'dogging' or something sinister

Since I started going out more this year, I've met some of the most friendliest people imaginable, aside from the first time I went to hazy and was really quiet (I think a lot of people are like this the first time they meet people) before all that I didn't tend to go out much at all, being content with staying in and amusing myself (same goes for one of my housemates) and I will be honest and say it was worrying me that I might 'forget' my social skills, and turn into the hairy palms of horror mutant internet freak, as I lived online and in a world of escapism, that being music and movies and suchlike.

I'd DJ'd a few old skool nights between 1999 and 2002, and tbh, the vibe just wasn't there, it felt like plastic to me, which I'm sure you can imagine doesn't associate well with the years gone by.

I've rambled on a bit there, but hey, just want to say a big thanks to the people I've met on this forum, both in person, and on screen, as there's some really geniune and beautiful people on here.

It's been great so far, and hope it continues being this great for years to come

Now, quick, better post sommat miserable and ranty again, before I start blubbing

We've all got our responsibilities now so we dont get to see each other often. But we're all going out on Sat for some d n b @ Destiny in Bournemouth. Should be a wikkid one, all the gang together gettin messy - what could be better!?

i was thinkin bout this the other day myself.
it is really mad how friendships develop, cause u never really realise how much they have developed until u need someone there, then u really start to stop and think bout what u have!

firendships are so easy to maintain if u want to maintain them, its jus that they are also really easy to mess up as well.

i like to think i am a good friend to all of the people i value most in the world, i like to think that they would call on me if ever they needed me cause its those people i call upon when i need it.

i had a lot of mates from wehn i was younger, but they were never true and there were always petty arguments all the time, ususally reasulting in me buggerin off somewhere cause i jus didnt wanna deal wit it.

never kept any of my mates from school, cause they were all evil bitches! like most birds are!!

but in the last year, i met a couple of birds in particular who completely retored my faith in females, and a lot of other freinds who have proved to me invaluable to me, and i really dnt know what i would do without any of them!!

i can honestly say thast this is the first time i have EVER actually FELT the love i have for my mates, all of the time! and i know that they are all as true to me as i am to them, which is the best thing!!

and i hope they all know how much they are valued and how lost i would be without them all!!! :

I've had the same mates from being 2 years old, gone through school and everything together. I hate them and love them at the same time and no matter what I will always support them. We might not always get on but that is human nature and I will make sure I go to every single one of their funerals LOL, even if it means going out in the rain

You'd think that females would wanna stick together but all they do is give other women the blow off in favour of attention from men.
Me & my mates decided that friendships only work between females when theres no competition between them. Which is why we all get on so well, cos we're all geuninely pleased for eachother when good stuff happens, and none of us are jealous.
Ive often been the subject of blatant hostillity from other girls, and I feel sorry for them that they see me as competition & not the sound friend I could be.
I had one girl take a dislike to me once cos her boyfriend had told her he likes blondes & I am blonde. I mean come on! How pathetic is that!

I'd say you've been quite lucky then really, i've had some very very close friends who've turned out to be just nasty jealous bints!!!!!

I am not in contact with any of my friends from school cos as i've grown up i've been able to choose my friends rather than being put with them in a class. I must say that i am very blessed with the friends i have around me now, both through here and also back at home. I'm a quality rather than quantity kinda gal but luckily i have lots of fantastic mates.
