I reckon he'll do much better at williams, however although he is a quality driver, I dont think his abilities match mikes and the car aint as good as the ferarri so I dont think he will do better than him

I reckon it'll be a good move for Jenson although its a shame for BAR as they were just getting recongnized as a top contender for championships etc, hopefully this will allow Sato to fill Buttons boots! Williams are a better team but we have to be real here and say that they are still no match for Schuey and his ferrari! Good Luck to Button i say!! Lets hope next season is more exciting than this one (god i even got bored towards the end of the race whilst at silverstone!!)

reports say that BAR had sorted out a new 2 year contract,but because williams couldnt find another decent driver they poach JB. id love to see him stay at BAR n win the tittle (which hes capable of) n give a big to williams as he passes then on the track !!!

if hes gone for the money then i hope he fails in every race, its another case of frank waving his cheque book about n see who comes running.

I recieved the F1 newsletter yesterday and it says that toyota has dropped Da Matta for the end of the season and replaced him with Ricardo Zonta!

according to the stuff i saw on the news david richards hasn't even been able to get hold of jenson to talk to him and also he said it's the first he's heard of it... i know he may have done what he thinks is best for himself by moving to williams but i think he is a d*ck...he hasn't discussed it and now he won't even talk about it to BAR.

i don't think williams should have got rid of him in the first place...not for some big gob like montoya ... hopefully Sato will keep his seat at BAR now and win some races for them, at least he doesn't blame the team wen things go wrong!!

Williams are a good team, but I think BAR are an up and coming team and could of done well with them. I hope david gets his seat as of yet he has not a drive next year. Cant see anyone coming close to ferrari yet. Which is a shame sometimes even though I do love Schuey it would be nice to see some competition.

I think its a good move myself as the williams team set up seems better (as if i know what im talkin about lol)
But wasn't Jensen signed for Williams before and when he went the press were told''the whole idea was to go back once he had more track experience'' or have i just made that up lol??
As you gather im not the worlds best F1 pundit but i enjoy it.

As Ab45 said I think what happened was that Button drove for Williams in 2000, then Williams wanted Montoya for 2001, so they loaned Button to Benetton, which became Renault.
Button then went to B.A.R. because Briatore shunted him out of Renault in favour of Alonso because he manages both Alonso and Trulli.
Montoya hasn't proved to be overly successful for Williams, and Jenson has been successful for BAR, they are taking him back under the 'loan' agreement with Jenson.
Dont quote me on that as I read it on another forum but it sounds about right to me.

Awww TezzO!!! I have to agree with you that if he's gone for the money... Well, Kalma is all I have to say!!

When it came on the news the other Night I nearly choked on my frosties!! he's doing soooo well @ BAR and I feel heart broken for them. but if this is what Button has got to, then he's just got to do it...

Jense is my man and whatever he has got my support!!

Its about time shumaca did an Ayton Senna, i know that sounds harsh but i hate the dirty cheating git. Hes not the best driver like people say its just his car is so much better, put Jeson in a car equal to his and forget about it. Let just hope the new williams car is up to the job.
