Invisible?

Why do people want aninimity on this board?

Always seemed a bit weird to me, is there a genuine reason for it?

Anybody that is invisible, what are your reason's.

Maybe its as they are at work or something and do not want to appear as online?

I thought Sexipussi was invisible, amongst others that i am aware of.

It's usually (from experience of admin/modding other forums) so people don't show up on the who's online bit, so no one can watch what you're reading/replying to etc...

Of course the Admin's can see everything though, there's no hiding there

I used to use it at first on here, and it'd be funny to sit watching the behavoir of some folks, as they'd note I'd posted something, then be looking at who's online

Still very weird if you ask me, what is the point? If you are posting, what is the difference if people can see you or not and who cares what people are looking at, after all that is what the board is for.

in answer to yr question..

i personally go on invisible wen i want a rest, wen i dont want to be seen as online but can browse quite happily whether i post or not
i have also used invisible wen i want a low profile or dont want people noseying like wot blue jammer used to do wen he was bored at work

its not an Anoniminity thing its a choice thing

its just a choice thing really innit. i think its good to offer the choice to people that if they would rather not be known for whatever reason be it someone they dont want to know that they are there or for the fact that u can always get the nosey crew refreshing the whos online every 2 seconds to see what ya doing like.

from my perspective im always invisible as in the past when i aint been ive had trouble causers see i aint around then go sick. if im invisible people dont know if im there or if im not and in a way it keeps things under control a wee bit more maybe.
