Lol @ bluejammer, i am one of the *some* nosey people, and i always look at who's online.

I do this because i like to see if anyone is posting something that i have an interest in, and if its quiet it tells you if nothing is happening for a while so i go and do something else.

Also, sometimes i see people replying to bits in other sections that i have overlooked, so its quite a useful tool.

As a phonetic speller, i do not usually point out other's mistakes, but perhaps retro was looking at the same dictionary as you with your 'aninimity'

invisable has some good points but personaly i dont use it on here not having need to

but i use invisable on yahoo chat mainly cos of hassle from idiots they wait till i go on there then try to talk complete and utter bolloxs to me (wouldnt mind if it was a decent convo) arrrrrrrrrrrif i wanted to talk total jibberish about the price of cabbages then id send em a msg

its diff here tho peeps are of a nicer breed, an theres mods to watch an get rid of offensive stuff before it causes probs (which can only be a good thing)

i also like the idea of butty being invis at all times .he could be watching u (maybe) is allways a good way of keeping some senseability on here lololol

It was friendly banter for gods sake, let bygones be bygones and all that. I admit my spelling is terrible, that was the whole joke-i was laughing at both myself, and the daftness of one bad speller pionting out another.

Lets not go raking up old posts eh, it just stops us all moving on and trying to regain the friendly community spirit that has been missing of late. For the respect of other board users why not just try and be less aggro.

Although i am totally unaware what it is i have done exactly to annoy you, i am more than happy to apologise and offer you a virtual handshake

Right i think we have established the following :-

1 - You can make yourself invisible if you want to .

2 - Some people choose to be invisible .

3 - Some people choose to be visible .

4 - It's the users choice if they choose to be or not for their own personal reasons whatever they may be .

And as the thread seems to be going off topic in all directions , it's now closed !
