elite frontier what a game in its day

just got a copy of one of my all time fav games elite frontier ,what a blast from the past ive been hammering it even though its grafix are a bit old it still plays realy well. retro games heaven i got at the same time the origanal elite,elite plus lol and elite first encounters. i love playin retro games now an again.
did any1 else play elite?. my rating is above avg lol i only been playing a day or 2 lol and have a asp explorer kitted out pmsl i have got to get a new pc to play the new elite game this pc is 2 slow lolol so its frontier time till then

I used to love elite, wouldn't want to start playing it again though. I've got X2 as a replacement for that whole space trading thing and freelancer for when I fancy a quick blast.

x2 looks very nice but till i get a new pc i aint got a chance in hell of tryin to play it on this pmsl ,so im stuck reliving me mashed up comedown days of playin frontier lolol

Elite was my all time favourite game!. I played it every night for months!. Only managed 'deadly' status though. Think there was a bug in the Electron version!!!

First Encounters was dire, X2 - The Threat is excellent tho'.

Elite, was that the one on the BBC where you travelled through different galixies picking up drugs and cargo and taking it to other places to sell it on for profit ?

Thats the Elite i used to play but im not sure about this elite frontier

elite frontier is the 3-2nd game of elite
elite the orriganal with vector graphics (lines)
elite plus like the first but with improved graphics
elite frontier a major step up from elite polygons ooooh
first encounters even better graphics
elite 4 (x2) the newsest game an best looking of all
