Cam, when I read half you post, I was thinking "Typical Cruel Bastard" - kids who like to go aout and shoot stuff for the 'fun' etc, but Im glad you then went on to say what you did. Fortunately , Ive never had that (what I call perverse) nature......

I eat meat, but I think if I was more aware when I was little about what actually was going on Id be a vegetarian now, but I like meat too much now and not many varieties of veg. If I had to do it myself though (sort an animal out), well, I couldnt and therefore would be a vegetarian or Fruitarian! lol.

When youre growing up, the majority of us just whip out a few chops from a polystyrene tray with sellophane o the top, that was it, no more thought than that, just two chops in a tray and on yer plate. Then youre hooked. Id probably feed my kids (if I have any) veg only until they are able to decide for themselves and choose to eat animals.

I agree with what your saying there fella, however I dont agree with not feeding your kids meat, we are meat eaters by nature and thats why we have the teeth weve got, theres only the odd few that are ment to be vegatarian, the likes of cilla black and esther ranson, they should be vegatarians for obvious reasons.

Meat gives all the protien and netriants that is requied for the body and no suppliments can replace that you can eat all the pills you want but its not going to be as good as the real thing, so I think to deprive kids of that neutriant is wrong.

Well, I cant say Id ever get around to having kids anyway, so it wont be a problem! lol.

Oh, and ofcourse you can get the right nutrients being a veggie, dont be a silly billy .


Id rather let them chance it on the nutrient front, than let them get some deadly BSE or sheep equivalent disease. I wouldnt wanna give em GM stuff either.....I think my kids would be skin n bone by the time Ive thought of all the pitfalls! lol

in my personal armoury there is a bowie knife (full size) a sword a chainsaw barnet commando xbow a longbow(composite) a webley service mark 2 a bsa metor with oxbow spring an scope sight an a few other things i aint sayin about pmsl. i am not ashamed of being a annimal killer. and at one time was the only meat i could afford having only 12 quid a week to live off, i used to eat rabbit regularly pheasant (when i didnt sell them all) duck ect. everything i have killed has been eaten by me or someone else (i dont agree with mass killing for no reason ) but i feel that the land has to be managed (i dont belive in bloodsports for fun ) but i skin an keep any skin off what i have killed, i cure them so i can use the skins there for less waste off the annimals i have killed .jayne (glazzy) was realy worried when she was preg thinkin i was going to make a loin cloth stlye baby grow for her son pmsl.
heres how to skin a annimal it is easly addaptable to suit the annimal but if snake ya need a set of pliers an they aint got legs lollol

1 squeeze the lover abdomen encouraging dead annimal to piss
2 cut around head on mioddle of kneck an chop off likewise hands and feet
3 make a insision just above the anus an slice up to the ribcage being carefull not to peirce the internal stuff
4 peirce membrain for the realy smelly bit of removing the intestines ect they should fall out easy be carefull not to peirce them cos there full of nasty germs clear chest cavity of all organs ect
5 the hard bit peel the skin from the body start peeling from the incision in the abdomen pull it backwards over the body

easy as pie ready for choppin up an cookin mmmmmmm a rabbit skinned has a body that looks like arnie in conan especialy with furry feet an gloves lololol
i have a waist coat that was made by my grandad its from a calf that was born still born it still has the fur on its about 50 years old now. just for note yes my family were farmers having farmsin kingsley cheshire and one in liverpool which is now part of liverpools new airport runway lol ,the farm in kingsley was sold when i was about 13 ,my greatgrandads, grandads, and farther all worked on farms and shot and had working dogs .eating off the land is a part of me family history ,an home killed an cooked meat tastes nicer in my opion

I used to have a black widow catty but my next door neighbour confiscated it off me for shooted the birds off his bird table lol and obliterating the feed bowl I was about 13 at the time.So I bought a diablo one off a mate the one with the counter balance wieghts on the bottom n a bag a ball bearins deadly in the hands of a 13 yr old lol

mate its not that messy realy ,the worst bit of it all in my opinion is the smell of blood and the intestines ect ,it is a bit pongy lol. my grandad showed me how to skin an my gran showed me how to pluck birds .its a pain tho being like me when other pple will stand an watch a annimal die, i will go to it an snap its neck to stop its pain (obviosly not if its ok like) i dont like seeing annimals suffer ,its amazing how fecked a annimal can be an still be alive .

Hey, were not all twisted and macabre you know!. hahah. I know where Pirate pete is coming from about putting a poor animal out its misery etc, but I dont get into the whole 'lets go and catapult some animal' mindset thankgoodness. Kids are cruel, I must have been a right pansy - I couldnt harm a fly - litterally! hahah.

I think the Americans and Canadians also have a macarbre streak when they go 'hunting' for moose and deers etc just to prove what a marksman they are to thier buddies! hahaha. Scoop the brains out of whatever poor dumb animal they so 'big headedly' outsmarted, stuff their heads with newspaper and wazz it on the wall as a trophy much in the same way stereotypical 1930's British gents 'bagged' tigers for thier walls.....lol.
