Thanks !
Allthough a friend of mine who helped me build it kept telling me I should have bought a full sus but as I do as much on road as off Im very pleased with it, Im still getting my fitness back after being off it for 5 months but I try to do an hour or two on it everyday & am looking forward to doing a proper allday ride soon.
If you can get some of those Fox forks I'd recommend doing so as there so much better than the Rockshox I used to have, that Salsa frame is great as well (made of Scandium) it seems to have the stiffness of aluminium but without the harshness allthough the carbon bars/seatpost probably helps as well, as for the disks I love them its great going flat out at a junction & braking a few feet away from it then gliding to a stop on the front wheel allthough it freaks people out when they think your not going to stop, anyway it was a lot of money but the insurance from my old one payed for 3/4 of it so the rest was money well spent.

Wouldn't really say I have any hobbies as such, but as you asked hobbies/interests

I'll go down the interests route if that's ok

Music creation, having a studio helps, as I prefer the hands-on approach, and like to use a minimal amount of software, in favour of much knob twiddling heh make of that what you will.

Films, I love them, can't get enough, escpecially foreign/arthouse films, as you get to see a glimpse of other people's cultures and that really impresses me.

Cooking, I have to say I'm a huge fan of Jamie Oliver and bought all his DVD's cheap, and I've been trying out a few things, and adapting them, so far haven't poisoned anyone, and it's great fun cooking, it's all about timing

MySQL/php - I'm currently learning this as I thought a while ago when I set up my own forum I needed to know this, certainly for the MySQL database it helps for when you have to install new hacks to the board etc - also I thought about a possible career change, always fancied getting into IT, and I've looked up jobs in this specific field and they pay very nicely, so may try and get myself on a course this year

I'm a fucking geek aren't I?

lol I need to leave the house more often That's for sure.

lets offroad

well my normal hobbies are reading an i used to skate lol (still have my deck 2 concave shut with gullwing trucks an spitfires speed bearings an spacers lol used to get train to split 2 top). my most fave hobby is my landrover goin out an goin offroad in it ive had a spliff on some of the highest peaks an mountains in the northwest lol, i even have a place where i can go offroad in peace without any1 seeing what i get up to after i have drove down the bank to get into the area theres 2 ways in first is a 45 degree 5 foot drop the other is about the size of a house and steeper. imagine goin on the big one in a landi an you are gettin close to the fun its top ive seen some realy nice veiws an some mad sights. took jane(glazzy) an her fella out once i only did some mellow stuff not my usual steep or big stuff because jane wasnt to happy about it lololol did i say i found all your finger nails now they were stuck in the seat base lololololol. i recomend any1 to try some offroading its not fast but its fun an you will look at something an think hes not goin to drive up that an i do . a lad called craig lol was in my landi as i drove up a very steep hill the trees were looking like they were lay down it was that steepabout halfway up craig filled his pants an decided to jump out the back door rolled down the hill i pannicked thinkin he had fell out an stopped bad mistake i couldnt get going up again i started to dig in with my wheels i was in low ratio so i put it in reverse an started to go backwards down the hill a bit faster than i wanted nearly running craig over as he was still rolling an falling down the hill lolol it was a top adreanalin rush tho

you tw*t it was a massive big mountain with a million foot drop on one side, it was p*ssin down with rain and the ground was really slippy and muddy and we were sliding towards the drop, no wonder i nearly sh*t myself plus i'm one of the most nervous passengers ever in a car and then you decided to drive up the side of a mountain
i forgive you though

I like loads of stuff. Really varied range. I know a little about a lot. I'm interested in allsorts. I love anything to do with Psychology. I find it amazing learning about the way your brain works and why we do the stuff we do. Although alot of things make alot of sense once you're told. I love the outside when it's sunny. I used to have a horse. I LOVE music, It's the one thing I couldn't live without. An intelligent conversation is another thing I hold in high regard!!!

I'm into music, not just oldskool, and enjoy making up my own tunes now and then. Like watching films too, and spend far to much on DVD's. Bought a dart board last year, and have a few throws most days. Thrown a 180 twice.

Must admit, I don't have as many 'hobbies' as when I was younger, like skatebording. I never mastered the kickflip, but for some reason I could heelflip.

One other that keeps me amused is doing the Rubik's Cube. Might sound a bit geeky - that's what everyone says when I tell them - but if you saw me do it in 30 seconds, I bet you'd be impressed!

Don't even know what on Earth posessed me to learn how to solve it that fast, it was just one of those crazy random things where I had to keep beating my best times. My current record stands at 28.45 seconds.

Under 30 seconds? . Jeepers.

I too like music, a bit too much. The difference is my tunes are unmarketable out of date piano shite lol. I never mastered the Kickflip either, but like you I could pull the occasional heel flip. I landed a few kickflips by fluke but generally just ended up on my ass in the middle of the street. I think my favourite 'fun' streetstyle trick was 360 'BigSpin' to wheelie and massively long ollie to nose wheelies across those vast car park divider areas you get on huge carparks. Simple but fun. I longed to be able to Airwalk, lol. Another one I never mastered was a simple ollie tail grab - I just couldnt bend back/crouch enough before landing. A lot of my trouble was that I never used my front foot properly - I used to lift my foot and replant it on the nose (in slow motion) rather than scrape the side of the trainer up the grippy.

Tigger, your worrying me now . If I wasnt reading between the lines and thinking your a touch'e stylee fencer I could have thought you were a psycho with a knife who knocks up the occasional garden or farm wall fence for pleasure .

I tried fishing once, didnt quite like it to be honest. It was peaceful, just an easy embankment situation, but Im easily bored and couldnt last out - besides I coulnt help but be squemish about stabbing maggots on the hook . They dont half tickle your hand though, lol.

I know some friends who go offroading in landrovers, theyve even written a few off in major tumble-age!

Id quite like riding a bike I reckon (of the mechanical kind before you lot start ) although Id be an out of town rider, I wouldnt like having to cycle the busy roads.

Darts is a good idea I could handle the strenuous beer and pie training for that sport
