I remember back in around 91/92, me and my girlfriend was sat in me car, at around midnight on a car park in Leigh, there was a petrol station next to the car park, and this guy, (who shall remain nameless), was parked on the garage forecourt, then Purple Aki turns up in another car and parks beside this guys car, this guy gets out of his car, sits in the car Purple Aki is in, then about 5 mins later, he gets out, and Aki makes this guy smash every window in his car.

I came to this site to reminiss about the good things from my youth, and then............up pops purple aki, seems no matter where you go, what you do purp's is just around the corner!

I can assure (or should that be arse sure) you that purple aki is no urban myth, he's very very real. I remember when i was about 14/15 or so purple aki would hang around the rugby clubs where i used to play. One time in particular on my way to the club i turned around the corner and purple aki was stood talking to my mates. "you play rugby and do weights don't you" my mates very kindly said as i approached "do i fook" i said whilst absolutly shittin myself.

It was in the local press either earlier this year or last year that purple aki has been sent down for his serious offences.

To finish on a brighter note I remember buying a purple chord anorak (was trendy at the time ....honest )from afflecks palace to go ravin in. This very quickly became known as purple aki to me and my mates lol

Is this a joke or is was purple aki real? If he was targeting rugby players who did weights how did he over power them all, cause they must of been quite big themselves. Or was he just a big fuck off freak off nature who could overpower most people who did weights or not? I hope no one tries to follow in his footsteps and comitt the same crimes. Maybe it would keep all the pricks off the street if the thought another aki was on the prowl?

Nice one Dee Dee , i think that was the newspaper article that i was on about, the only difference was that it had a photo of purple aki with it. As for the article itself, its states that purple aki commited offences over a three year period, thats rubbish we were all aware of the danger he possessed 15 years ago!

Spreewell, the reason he could over power rugby players who did weights was. 1) He picked boys, not men
2) He wasn't small himself
3) Fear, because of the myth come reality people automatically shit themselves.
