Well i can tell you something.

I never really watch tv, at all in fact- but the last few days i have been watching The Price Is Right, and it rocks!

Last night this lady had to guess the price of two fuck off brick stylee mobile phones, proper back braking heavy phones they were. And the price- £300!

Jeez stuff is so cheap now.

In Tesco you can get a dvd player for £30, and a combo dvd/vid for £65.

Those cheap DVD players don't last very long though, a few friends bought them, and most returned them after 3/4 months

i have seen strange signs on the PC before, but not that often. thought that the keyboard on that persons comp must like be in chinese mode or summat and when ya press a certain symbol it gives ya another one, like when ya press the @ sign on the american stylee and ya get the " and vice versa! dunno how to get that off!!

Ive been a busy boy today, Ive been sandpapering polyfilla in my ceiling and applying an undercoat of paint on it all today, and Ive just (literally) finished building my new PC ( ). Had some major teething trouble that still needs sorting out, but Im 90% the way there now thankgoodness.

Im not happy with the RAM FSB report on startup or the CPU speed either .

Ive literally just got it working at all thanks to my brother sorting out the SATA drive earlier this evening . My Windows XP Pro SP2 disc didnt wanna play ball either so I had to stick my pops SP'0' home edition on for the time being - I darent even attempt to connect to the internet with that! lol.


May be giving the Help crew a bashing this week, it depends how it goes.

Im still on the Laptop at the minute.

I may get it going tomorrow night,it depends if I sort the trouble out. Im not sure if theyve sent me the wrong RAM cards, the FSB is wrong, and Im not sure what clock speed the Athlon3200+ should be set to without investigating. The FSB seems to be 333 when I ordered 400 and the CPU speed is set at default 2500mhz - which may be right, I dunno. I'll leave that for a help question later though

I hope it doesnt all need to be sent back, for one its taken me bloody ages to build and two, I wont know where to start packing leads n stuff back into the right boxes!


Ill try and get it sorted before weekend though whatever I do. The nets the 'thing after next' to sort out cos I need to update windows and get some ZoneAlarm type behaviour in place n that.

Well, Im offski's cos Ill be fit for nowt tomoraz.
