somebody pick the dummy up

Arsenal's Arsene Wenger has slammed Manchester United's tough tackling in the FA Cup semi-final, confirming that Jose Antonio Reyes and Freddie Ljungberg were both injured. Wenger believes that referee Graham Barber let Paul Scholes and Roy Keane get away with nasty challenges, that ultimately led to injuries to two of his players.

"The tackle on young Reyes was very bad," said Wenger - whose team lost 1-0. "He's done his medial ligaments because of the tackle from Scholes from behind.

"Scholes and Keane got away with some very bad challenges and now we have lost two important players at a crucial stage of the season.

"Unfortunately we will be without Reyes for three weeks and Ljungberg will be out with a broken hand.

"With the schedule we have it's a big blow to lose players like that. I just thought Barber was very conservative with some of his decisions."

all together now ... awwwwwwwwwww
