I actually started the thread which it kicked off on, didnt reply after what I posted mind you.....simply saying that i thought people who lived on a caravan site had a cheek to be kicking off about plans to build some student accomodation and it went a bit mad - couldnt be arsed reading it all to be honest but it seems, like always, people like to stir it up and others are just too sensitive to the point where they think other people arent allowed to speak their mind...

I respect that people are entitled to a point of view, but I cannot understand some of the narrow minded bigotry that is flying around at the moment.

Quite frankly some of the stuff is straight out of the 1950's - stuff you may have expected to hear if you'd belonged to the generation our grandmothers and grandfathers belonged too.

I wasn't going to get involved and I want to say a lot more believe me but it frightens me how few people have actually come out and said anything.

Can we carry on and talk about what we're all here for....music!!!?????

i havent been on ere sinse last nite, and ive come on now and it seems all hell has broke loose.. me and shabbs were just saying at lunch about how appalled we were at yesterdays racist comments, and indeed the ones that have been posted in the past.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, freedom of speech and all that, and everyone isnt always going to agree, and wudnt it be boring it we did,
BUT alot of comments are totally uncalled for, unkind, unpleasant and dis-respectful.. and that is where i draw the line.. (in my opinion)
