I rearered a blackbird that had fallen out its nest when I was a kid

got it to full strength and my mum put it out in the backgarden to see if it could fly, left it in a tree hoping it would fly away and shit, it didnt, it fell to the floor, and she'd also let the dog out at the same time, who quickly ate the bird, I was gutted, mum told me that it had flowen away, I found out about 5 years later the dog ate it, the dog was still alive so I kicked the shit out of it 5 years late

aye mate, it was about 15 years ago now fella so im well over it now pissed me off at the time though, 5 years my mum used to say there Maggy ( good name for a magpie eh ? btw it was a magpie not a blackbird ive just remembered then when I typed its name ) come to visit us, every year when a magpie came near the house it was maggie comming to say hello to me and thank you, until I found out, I was well pissed off ! I'd spent 6 months of digging in the garden for worms and hand feeding the begger with tweezers as well, cause you have to chop up the worms then shove the food right down there throtes or they cant eat them where there young, it was hard work, and it shit on me loads of times
