LOL@Sirius! Is there anything you like about christmas??

I agree with the crackers bit tho, although a couple of years ago i got 3 mini screwdrivers and a bottle opener in mine!! Top prizes, i still use them today!! I cant understand why they have those plastic moustaches and compass's etc.....and a really crap joke inside them!! How exactly does the crackers fit into the religious side of christmas? There must be an explanation of this, or is it just another money grabbing idea someone came up with???

I actually dont mind the christmas tunes bein played whilst shopping, even better when its snowing! But, i suppose listening to the same 3 tunes over n over again can drive even the saneist of people mad! Wizard - Wish it could be xmas everyday, Cliff Richard- Mistletoe and Wine and Slade for example! :p

I cant stand christmas carol singers knocking at my door, namely townies trying to skank some coin of you!! GET LOST!! As if halloween wasnt bad enough!!

I also hate the way that everything is so dear! And that you worry incase you've forgotten to buy Uncle Bob who lives in Australia a pressie!! AAAGH!! You havent seen him since you were 3 yet you feel like you have to buy them a pressie!!!

I do love christmas though, apart from the above! :p

i do like christmas but i hate christmas eve...theres always some kind of drama with presents thats too late to fix cos the shops have shut early...a couple of years ago our dog helped himself to 2 massive boxes of thorntons continental that were in the spare room(i didn't shut the door properly ) then he thought there must be food in all the other presents so he opened everything else too
got back in from last minute shoppin and there was paper all over the place, i had no wrapping paper left and 2 pressies inside the dog!!
and to top it all off i spent the whole night cleaning up pools of melted chocolate dog vomit
lucky he didn't croak it eating that much choccy

I love doing my xmas shopping - every year on xmas eve me and a couple of mates take the train into manchester and get off at deansgate and head into town to do our shopping, stopping at every pub for a jd and coke on the way!

We normally end up coming back late at night, slaughtered and with some of the dumbest pressents ever!
