Now that (although insane) does peck the head (albiet with inane-ness lol).

Why are we here at all? I ask myself that everyday, and although I dont know the answer, the one thing I can tell you is that its NOT LONG ENOUGH. Wouldnt it be great to live as long as you wanted? Just think of all the things you could learn and achieve, go trekking in the himalaya's, read all the books ever written, understand others's customs and outlooks entirely, just fit in EVERYTHING you can possibly do on earth - I feel Ive got a ticket to the biggest amusement park ever made, but I only choose to ride on the tea cup ride and an old fashioned 'death' slide with a brown matt/sack to fly down in. When you get older, you see there is a bigger amusement park and more rides to go on and more strange foods to feed on, but times running out and youre gonna not get your moneys worth! lol. Know what I mean?

Sirius.

Lol I know what you mean there, its like that petri dish thing, I think Jonno mentioned it. Earth could be in someones petri dish and they decide our fate It is a crazy theory and is a bit insane lol, but can anyone prove that its not possible !!

Also I know what you mean about life being not long enough, there are so many things to do on this earth, so many places to go, things to discover. Its not physically possible to go everywhere in one lifetime When youre younger these things are not so important as you feel like you have youre whole life ahead of you to do these things, its is only when you get older that you realise that youve wasted a lot of your life by not experiencing a lot more of what is out there.

Its like the contented thing, if you were to die now, would you be happy with what youve achieved in your life ? I know I wouldnt So is that why we go on and possibly come back to experience life again ? Cos we hadnt been content with our lot the first time round ??

Its quite scarily true what grad said also tho, that there is no reason why we are here and its just cos we have the ability to think that makes us wonder these things. I dont want to be that logical, I quite like living in my fantasy world sometimes and it makes me feel some what secure to think we may have another chance at this rollercoster ride called life whether it be here on earth or in the next dimension.

My mum died in my arms when I was 14 and the thought of never seeing her again is just too unbearable. The way of thinking that there is something at the end of our life here on earth and we do get reunited with people that we love is definately a comforting thought. Im not talking heaven with pearly gates and angels giving out wings, but some sort of 3rd dimension...but who knows eh ?

Sometimes I envy those people that are just so contented with their lives and dont wish for anything more, cos that must be such a happy way to live. But Im too sceptical, inquisitive and think way too much to be like that !!

BTW.... did anyone watch the Meaning of Everything series on C4 ? watched it last week & also the 2nd part this week (think it was Sunday night)... wicked wicked stuff.... advanced quantum physicians delving into the makeup of the universe going beyond atomic physics going into 'string theory'... in a nutshell they were saying that our universe could well be just one 'membrane' within a larger multi-universe... saying that there could be up to 11 dimensions not just the 4 we know today.... these dimensions can only be understood when you explain down to sub atomic environments... so what 'New Agers' have been saying for ages about multi dimensions of existence seems to be supported by advanced mathmatics & physics....

Also went on to theorise that the 'big bang' was started by 2 different universe membranes touching each other...

Blew me mind it did lol
