| board upgrade - AV IT!!! :) ok then i know what the problems with downtime were kiddas. basically we had 128 meg on the server n to run the services like the sql database and the apache server (the thing that hosts the webpages) takes up roughly half of that memory which means when u guys were furiously refreshin etc the services like apache n mysql couldnt get the memory they needed and to solve the problem they would just restart. hence the downtime. and so ive upgraded the server to 256meg and we should be laffin now. lookin at my control panel whereeas before with 15 people on 70% of the memory was used now with 15 people on only 10% of it is being used so were mad for it now. broadbanders will also find that it will be even slightly quicker than it was before (when it was workin lol) altho i dont know how u can get quikker than pretty much instantaneous, maybe itl read the post before weve clikked em!  il b doin me poll (oo err) in a months time to see what peeps think of the speed n reliability again but im sure wel see a big diffrence

| its just its happenin 2 r kid. its either a setting that ur works put on ur proxie thats causin it or summet to do with ur cookies. try finding the cookie n deletin it n i cant bleedin remember how 2 delete ur cookie so im gonna ask 'the wizard' aka bt to pop over n tell u how 2 do that............. take it away mr wizard wave ya magic wand
