Having exhausted the Manchester bar and club scene in search of somewhere that played all the different types of music that they wanted to hear, bloggers and DJs, Jon (Black Country Grammar) and James (Yer Mam!) decided the only way to rectify this was to start their own night.

Bonding over a mutual, magpie-like thirst for music in all its forms, Jon and James have DJed together a number of times over the past year. The natural progression is the eclectic behemoth that is Dig For Victory!

The night is a reflection of the varied styles of music they love and write about on their blogs, flipping from deviant disco to scuzzy garage punk, classic Chicago house to golden age New York hip-hop, noirish electro-pop to steely techno and all points in between.
