Soundproofing??

I'm moving home this week from an old stone bulit semi(where my neighbour's half deaf n can't here my tunes )into a flat and not wanting to piss my co-residents off am wondering if anyone has any tips on dampening sound

I tend to run off my little comp speakers anyway so i've gota prevent the sound carrying rather than worrying about thumping bass, any help gratefully accepted

Thick foam or rubber type stuff on the walls and floor will help.

Well, they may stop the sound reverberating around the room, but they certainly won't prevent it from going through the walls

Fuck `em.

Turn it up.

I don`t charge my neighbours so the lucky fuckers get it for free.

That`s my theory anyway.
