Something cocked up on Windows Explorer

Not sure what I've done, but you know on XP when you open a folder and you have a section down the left of the window that displays details of the file you have selected? Like for an mp3 it will show size, track number, album title etc...

Well, it's vanished and I'd like it back please!

Cheers!

In windows explorer, click on tools - at the top and then folder options.

In the 'general' tab ensure 'common tasks in folders' is selected
