Wink Hello all my old skool friends!

Hi everyone,
I organise retro partys in cornwall, usually around newquay. I am looking to make contact with any south west dj's current or retired! who have a solid record collection from 88-98 apprx, we still have some slots to fill for this years gatherings(a sound attitude is a must).
We party outdoors when we can find a suitable site, and also use licenced indoor venues, we have a large local following of all types and ages. our events are multi genre acid house partys attended by up to 950 people or so, sometimes we have a live band also.
we would like to hear from sound people who love to dance to old skool tunes, who might want to party with us this year.
Lets make the network work!
We arnt commercial sluts, just a crew of like minded people who love to dance, and provide some old skool soundsystem fun!!
Our next confirmed event is sat june 14th.
visit allwaysacid.com for an idea of the music we are into, and a link to our my space site.

one love AWA!

Hi,
sorry, but we dont have anything planned as yet for easter, lots of the local crew are only just arriving back from winter travels so we all usualy need to work the easter period =( Im looking into some other dates, which I will post as and if details are confirmed. Our confirmed dates for 08 so far are opening season party on Sat June 14th, and an end of season party on Sat sept 13th, at the koola club/Chy bar overlooking Towan Beach, its a great 2 room venue, with a nice terrace to have smoke and a chill looking out to sea!
cheers

Ah, welcome aboard All Ways Acid

Was going to organise a do down there for all us lot here a couple of years back, but it fell apart in the end

Would be ace to have an OSA Summer Do down there at some point (although i'm merely a member here and don't have butty's permission to use the OSA name ) I reckon it would be a top weekend though especially if it included camping, PA system and wasn't profit making like the one I intended organising

Might well be up for this mate, so keep us updated with info

we do have outdoor party's every now and then, but its extreemly difficult to organise something like a small weekend festival during the main summer season, for a few reasons,
1, camp sites are full already so owners dont want to negotiate anything for the main season.
2 cornwall gets hundreds of extra for the summer.
3 too many eyes around to spot u setting up. Its even hard to get a club, during june/july, because the clubs know that the usual chimp on the decks will be cheeper, and the tourists will still come.
I do have a preliminary agreement for a mid summer date at the koola/chy, iv not taken them up on it, but its possible.
If enough osa people register their interest ill try to look into the possibilities, no promises tho
cheers AWA! x
