Any help (modem)

I have a modem (sagemfast 800), provided by Tiscali when i first got broadband (this modem will not allow us to conect a Wii to the internet even it's that naff)
and asking if it's possible to do away with the modem in exchange for something else,
When i installed Tiscali it came with a cd that guided me step by step installing modem username and password and Tiscali server.
