Biog:
Ive been into oldskool ever since i can remember really - was brought up listenin to the stuff ! My maa has a vast collection of oldskool tapes - Started listening to tapes from Life@Bowlers, Angels, ARK, Wigan Pier et al.. Ever since hearing sets from the likes of Stu Allan, Welly, Nipper, Bowa, Rick Jones & Paul Taylor to name a few i was hooked on Piano House & Oldskool!! I first messed on the dex 5 or 6 years ago - after brief stints on the dex at mates and at mine! Bought my own dex on me 19th birthday off a mate for a bargain 70squid, not the greatest but were fair decent to get me on my way like. Since then really ive been buyin records left right and centre & have just purchased a new pair of 12-10's, needing to progress onto cd's though very soon so if anyone would like to donate a pair of cdj's to the cause get in touch! .. Ive recently just stopped playing weekly at "The Bar Above" in Hebden Bridge after the police raided the joint!! (twatting pigs!!)... which brought an end to the LOVED UP nights which i ran for 6months, along with me partner in crime - Joel Booth! This also brought an end to my weekly residency at this venue which i was rather pissed off about! Was some good experience playing to the Hebden faithful each week and a good laugh! The last night there was NYE 06 which ran till 6am! Anyhow currently looking for a venue to start playing regularly again and making guest appearances at diff nights such as Re-Phused (Halifax) & HOUSED UP! (Burnley).
