| I have downloaded a mix, but it is too long for my poxy 80min CD-R's. Is there anyway of chopping the mix so that I can burn it???? Some one help me pleeeeease!!!

It's easy to chop it in two with Nero, soundforge or creative software. If it's only a few minutes over you can also overburn it. If you have one of the above i can tell you, although i am sure there is other software that you can do it with. |

| I dont have Nero or sound forge!!! I just burn it with Media player!!! The mix is like 1 hour 30! So I cant over burn it either! lol help me someone!

| i've used all of the methods outlined in this thread, that is until someone pointed me in the direction of thislittle beauty: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/megamp3split.html for unlike the others, which for some reason take an age to save into the edit thing this does it in literally seconds - just download it (it's free ) then open said music file - put a 'cut' in at the end or beggining or whatever and click on save icon - hey presto job done in 2 seconds or alternatively you can do a few 'cuts' and save them ontop two cd's or whatever![]() |

| Hi; i use windows movie maker its really good; you basically cut the mix in half after attaching it to the time line and delete the half you dont want (burn that later) then save the project and burn the 2 halfs to cd ![]()
