| Sidechain compression Can't remember much about this from college, but what I need to find out is how to put a compressor over the whole mix, but have it triggered by the kick drum, thus achieving that over-the-top compressed sound that loads of funky house tracks use. "call on me" is a perfect example. Working with the Waves VST plugins.

| Found a way round it, cheating a bit, but gets the same effect. ![]()
