Can't you use the VB commands time() and date()?

Good point. You need a couple of hidden fields on the input form. Then when the form is executed, insert them into the DB as you do with the other fields. I seem to remember having grief with the dates on this when I did it a couple of years back. The webserver insisted on entering them in US format, so I had to use "mid" to split the dates when I pulled them back out onto another form, not that hard but a pain in the ass all the same.

Not sure if you can attach files here so if not just paste the contents of your "post" form and the script the info is passed to to enter the stuff into the db (the asp / vb script) and I'll see if I can point you in the right direction.
